Creating Memories for our Memories
Cards of white paper have drawings in black ink. Each card is organized in the way they all form the form of a ADN, which thanks to the color of the drawing, will be a black ADN.
All the memories and meanings people have about their family and friends, in this case grandfathers, are the elements that form what they mean to them. So, the piece will show that besides the grandfathers are, in most of the cases, absent in people’s life’s (black ADN symbol), because of the memories about them that are still in people’s life, and are the elements that construct our lifes.
SO THE PIECE SHOWS THE LEGACY THE GRANDFATHERS LEAVE TO PEOPLE, THAT CONSTRUCTS THROUGH THE MEMORIES THEY HAVE BEEN LEAVING ON US
The body in the piece is represented by the interaction of the public in the development of the piece. So, besides the concept of the final piece is only one, the piece will mean something different for each of the public members that interact depending on what they remember (and therefore draw) about their grandparent.
There is a table where the black pens and the small white cards will be organized, and also, in order to paste all the cards, I will put the tapes in the wall. The instructions will be also in the table. The pen will be in the table. I will use small cards with short phrases to help the public to interact
